How it works
We organize classic hall auctions and online auctions
You have the following possibilities to participate in the auction:

Submission of absentee bids
via our website or in writing by email, letter or fax
- Live bidding during the auction via the Internet
Please register before the auction for live bidding.
After checking your data, your access to live bidding will be activated.
You need an account for the website to register as a live bidder.
- Bid by phone
If you submit bids as a telephone bidder, we will call you during the auction. If we cannot reach you, we bid the limit for you.
Specifically for this, we have increased our auction team to the auction in order to enable you to bid comfortably from afar.
- In the auction house in Ladenburg
Come to Ladenburg as a hall bidder and take part in the auction at the auction house.
To bid you need a valid identification document.
Online you can bid until the end of auction.
You can see at every time the current price, and if you are the highest bidder.
You will get an email if your where outbid.
Your bids are maximum bids,
the hammer price will be 1 EUR over the highest bid of the other (lower) bidders,
but maximal the maximum bid.
Example:
You bid maximal 10,00 EUR.
Another bidder bids 5,00 EUR
You get the item for 6,00 EUR
Procedure for shipping from Ladenburg/Germany
- You will receive a confirmation mail with your auctioned goods
- You have three options: shipping, delivery, pickup
- after confirmation and information about the desired option:

Shipping:
- The goods will be packed first and then you will receive the invoice with shipping costs according to the size and weight of the package and the amount of packing.
- Shipping is possible via DHL, Fed Ex or DHL Express
- For all items over a surcharge of 1.000,00 €, when shipping the goods, to countries outside the EU, an additional 55 € fee for the preparation and processing of export documents will be charged

Delivery:
- We will be happy to contact you personally and discuss a possible delivery

Pickup:
- From the 3rd working day after the end of the auction, pickups can be made.
- A confirmed appointment is mandatory and must be arranged in advance.
- The goods will be prepared by us.
- Please remember to bring packing material.
Procedure for shipping from the USA
- You will receive a confirmation email with your auctioned goods
- You have two options: shipping and pickup
- After confirmation and information about the option you want:

Shipping:
- The goods will be packed first and then you will receive the invoice with shipping costs according to the size and weight of the package and the amount of packing.
- The invoice will be issued from the auction location Ladenburg/Germany - shipping is from the USA.
- Invoices will include a flat rate for packaging. Actual shipping charges will be provided by UPS directly to the customer.
- For all items over a hammer price of €2,500.00, there is an additional $125 fee for the preparation and processing of export paperwork.
- Please take into account any import sales tax for import to Europe - please contact your local customs office for exact information. This tax will be charged directly to you by customs.
- The shipment will be made via UPS

Pickup:
- Collections are only possible after prior appointment.
- The goods will be prepared, please remember to bring packing material.
Procedure for shipping from Switzerland
- You will receive a confirmation email with your auctioned goods
- You have two options: shipping and pickup
- After confirmation and information about desired option:

Shipping:
- The goods will be packed first and then you will receive the invoice with shipping costs according to the size and weight of the package and the amount of packing.
- The invoice will be issued from the place of auction Ladenburg/Germany - the shipment will be made from Switzerland.
- Please consider if necessary an import sales tax for the import to Europe - exact information can be obtained from your respective customs office. This tax will be charged directly to you by customs.
- For all items there is a fee of 150 € per invoice. This includes the creation and processing of export documents, packaging and postage within the EU.
- When shipping to third countries (everything outside the EU) the costs may vary
- Shipping is done exclusively via DHL Express

Pickup:
- Only after prior appointment possible
- The goods will be prepared, please remember to bring packing material with you
- The import of the goods in the respective recipient country must be done by the customer himself
The cost of shipping is made up as follows:
- Working time for packing
- Cardboard boxes and packing material
- Insurance
- postage
- if necessary export documents
We ask for your understanding that we have to pass on the significantly increased prices, especially for cardboard boxes but also postage costs.
