Bestelmeier, sand machine, rare, not marked, Germany around 1790, measurements: 365 x 265 x 110 mm, good, general condition: is in good working order, Bestelmeier, with original cover, in the beginnings the toy manufacturer must develope unusual techniques for the drive, this item got a sophisticated mechanism - by filling in sand through the roof a vane wheel starts moving and caused by this the tragant figures starts moving too. It is a a miracle that this machine is today preserved  inthis condition. We got a copy of a picture with a very similar item from the Bestellmeier-catalog 1820. A special item of the collection Depuoz.
